I am going to give you a run down on all things related to hair products. If you need anything specific to a hair type please let me know.
Starters: shampoo, conditioner and/or hair mask. I know I listed a few things in a previous post but I will say it again you have to invest in what you put in your hair. The top brands I love for this category are (Shu Uemura, Kerastase, and Oribe" All of these are from experience not sponsored although I do have a code for Shu if you want to try it out and save money. All these products smell amazing and have great options depending on what you are looking for. I do alternate from time to time but while I am maintaining my Blonde hair I stick with Shu for their cool blonde conditioner to keep my hair the cool ashy color I like. As for shampoo I use either the urban moisture or ultimate reset because lets be real staying blonde and all the heat damage I do I need to make sure I'm giving my hair a little extra care.
Styling: I live for heat protectants and serums for the hair my current favorite hair serum, that my fabulous hair stylist told me to try is the Moroccan Oil which has been an ultimate lifesaver especially with my thick curly hair that I get heavily bleached often. It smells amazing and keeps my hair moisturized without it feeling weighted down and greasy which most "serum" type products tend to do.
Heat protectants: Let me tell you this is so important if you heat style your hair, whether its with a curling iron/wand, flat iron or blow dryer you need some type of protectant and look at how much heat it will protect against. I used to not think I needed it and let me say my hair paid the ultimate price and I had tons of split ends and my hair was dry and unappealing to say the least.
Scrunchies: ⤵
Hallelujah for this! ✨
Breakage is a real thing and hair ties break your hair so please buy yourself Silk hair scrunchies, because for one silk doesn't dry out and pull your hair, it's easier on dry, damaged or even weak thin hair. Also, silk pillowcases are a must and a major bonus for your hair so you can have that extra care you need. You can find tons of options online for a great affordable price.
If you want to know other items I use or what is on my wishlist stay tuned as I will add on to this post! ✨
Shu uemera “ishi sculpt hair pomade” is a great product and you only need a pea sized amount to get rid of fly aways and/or keeping texture in your hair and it lasts a long time!
My problem is fly away hair with static in the winter. What can I do to keep my hair neat and in control?
